I think we should get a little mellow this evening. "La Cienega Just Smiled" is one of my favourite Ryan Adam songs. I first heard Ryan through my friend Rachael when we were driving north out of San Francisco - she put on the Gold album and this was one of the tracks on it that stood out for me.
