Kylie Minogue vs. Alison Limerick: Where Kylie Lives (Bright Light Bright Light Bootleg)

Bright Light Bright Light's Rod Thomas has expertly mashed Kylie Minogue's "Slow" (previously posted here: http://thefinetuner.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/kylie-minogue-slow-slow-chemical.html) with Alison Limerick's 1990 hit "Where Love Lives (Come On In)" to create the rather dazzling "Where Kylie Lives".

Kylie Minogue: Slow / Slow (Chemical Brothers Remix)

Released in 2003 as the lead single from the album Body Language "Slow" went to number 1 in the UK, and number 1 on the Billboard Hot Club Dance Songs chart. It was accompanied by the incredibly sexy Baillie Walsh directed video filmed in Barcelona and featuring Kylie poolside along with lots of rather lovely speedo clad male sunbathers. 

Apparently it's Kylie's favourite track to date out of all the music she's recorded in her long career.

The Chemical Brothers Remix below is quite something. You think you've got it pegged and then it starts heading off in all sorts of directions. 

Kylie Minogue: Come Into My World (Fischerspooner Spangles Extended DJ Mix) / Come Into My World (Abbey Rd. Sessions)

I have the original version of the Fischerspooner Mix of Kylie's "Come Into My World", but I just found an extended version which has been fleshed out by Johnny Spangles. This is definitely another earphones in the dark moment - pump up the volume.

And for something totally different, keep the headphones on but pop into a cosy armchair with a small glass of sherry. This version of "Come Into My World" is from Kylie's Abbey Road Sessions album which is made up of orchestral remakes of her own songs...

Kylie: K25 Jacks Megamix (Juampius Videomix)

To celebrate Kylie's 25th anniversary of being quite a big pop star Jack Roeby released his rather fabulous K25 Megamix in 2012. Juampius created a great video mix to go with it.
