George Barnett - Get Lucky (Smoove Remix)

I come across remixes of "Get Lucky" all the time and am usually strict about not blogging them as we've all heard the track ad nauseam (though I still think it's a masterpiece). Then you hear a version that just makes it fresh all over again. This is actually a cover of "Get Lucky" by UK singer/songwriter/musician George Barnett and it's been remixed by the brilliant Smoove. Well done guys.

Smoove & Turrell: Beggarman / Beggarman (Daytoner Remix)

Taken from their debut album Antique Soul, "Beggarman" by Smoove (Jonathan Scott Watson) and Turrell (John Turrell) is a mix of soul, funk and electronic sounds. It was released in 2009 and is altogether rather ruddy good. Ok this is genius. I heard it on the radio a while back and thought it was a brilliant reworking of the Kylie hit "Can't Get You Out Of My Head".
