The Clash: The Magnificent Seven (Ed Wizard and Disco Double Dee Magnificent Edit)

Ok, just one more Clash track 'cos you've been good. Ed Wizard and Disco Double Dee A.K.A. Canadian DJ and producer Dave Allison has taken The Clash's "The Magnificent Seven" and made it... well... "Magnificent".

The Clash: Rock The Casbah (GDFN Edit) / Train In Vain (Bobby C Sound TV Remix)

Two Clash classics given a fresh coat of audio paint. GDFN (London's Phil Asher & Martin Lodge) turn "Rock The Casbah" into a glorious, nearly nine minute long edit which doesn't bring in the vocals 'til half way through.

Meanwhile Denver, Colorado DJ/producer Bobby C Sound TV has twisted "Train In Vain" into the dazzling 'coked up disco rock' he excels at. Brilliant!

Jimmy Cliff: Guns Of Brixton / Guns of Brixton (Kinky Electric Noise Remix)

2011 cover of The Clash's "Guns Of Brixton" by Jimmy Cliff who in turn is considered to have influenced the Clash's own musical sound.

And check out above the "Kinky Electric Noise Remix" of the track which manages to keep the soul of the original whilst adding a whole new layer of sound.
