Buffetlibre - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea (ft. Dragonette)

This is rather lovely. Barcelona's Buffetlibre released their debut album Songs For Elaine recently, and they've followed it up with an EP of covers called Elaine's Ghosts. One of the tracks is this delightful cover of Neutral Milk Hotel's "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" featuring Canadian electronic band Dragonette (with the inimitable vocals of Martina Sorbara.) The Buffetlibre Remix helps me appreciate this track so much more - though not sure I'll ever be able to listen to it without thinking of the horrendous video.

The video above is the original version - such a sexy track. The Buffetlibre mix below brings out a whole different side of the song - one for playing in the car on a sunny day.
