Kraftwerk's "The Model" or "Das Modell" to give it its official title as a track from the band's 1978 album The Man Machine was eventually given a single release in 1981, but only as the B side of "Computer Love". It proved popular in its own right and so was finally released as an A side - making it to number 1 in the UK charts in 1982.
